Aimee Wagner serves as the Vice President of Human Resources at Mercalis. She joined the company in 2008 as its first HR Generalist and assumed the responsibility of creating the role and function of the HR department. Since then, Aimee’s team has been instrumental in supporting the growth of the company from 70 to over 2000 employees working across multiple corporate and remote locations. Aimee’s list of accomplishments includes developing a company-wide employee review process, creating a new incentive program, implementing the company’s first HRIS system, and supporting the company through its seven acquisitions. Aimee treats Mercalis employees as her own customers and makes decisions with each of them in mind. She knows it’s important to always balance the needs of the company with the needs of its employees. Prior to joining Mercalis, Aimee served as HR Assistant and HR Generalist during a nine-year career at Charles and Colvard, Ltd.

Aimee holds a BA in industrial relations from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification. Together, Aimee and her family are active supporters of local animal rescue foundations. In her spare time, she is an avid runner and has completed four marathons and over 20 half marathons.
